Visit to Gudimallam

My self and Sri.N.R.Vijayasankar had a long desire to visit Gudimallam Sri parasurama swami temple which is about 20km from Renigunta. We both went to gudimallam in 18th Feb 2024 after attending T.V.Ajay Babu Sir son's marriage at Tirupathi.

This temple is an archaeological site and the main idol is about 2500 years old. This temple is considered to be the first ever Siva temple to be built. After workshing the main deity lord parasurama for about a century, this temple was built by chola kings arround 3rd century BC and later expanded and other deities with in temple complex was built by pallava kings.
